Biography

As a member of psychedelic rockers Jefferson Airplane, Jorma Kaukonen enjoyed massive success during the late sixties. After the the Airplane split up, he formed Hot Tuna in 1970, a jam band that flaunted both his formidable electric chops as well as his mastery of acoustic blues fingerstyle. Since then he's remained active as a performer, both solo and with Hot Tuna, and owns and operates a 119-acre music camp in Ohio known as the Fur Peace Ranch.
