Biography

Hailed as one of the world's leading solo bassists, Michael Manring has stretched the boundaries of what's possible on the bass guitar for over two decades. Manring combines astounding technique and command of the instrument with a brilliant sense of melody and harmony. A former student of Jaco Pastorius, Manring has developed a new and unique approach to the electric bass guitar that includes unorthodox tunings and techniques.
